Due to the fact that the banquet rooms at Café Restaurant 'It Foarûnder' can be adjusted in a flexible way to the size of the group, we can always reserve an area which suits the Group.


Experience
We are not only flexible in the size of our banquet rooms but also in the content of the programme of the day. Through the years we have gained much experience in creating and accomplishing large events. We can assist in this with from the welcome letter till the wardrobes and so on.

Different types of events
The location is suitable for different kinds of events like business, festive or private parties. Groups until 600 persons can be hosted within Café Restaurant  'It Foarûnder' and for larger groups there is enough space next to the building to set up marquees based on the theme of the event and size of the group.

Sneekweek

For years Starteiland is the location where on the first Saturday of August the Sneekweek starts. For a week the island is taken over by sailors from all over the world who are sailing matches on the Sneekermeer. During the evenings there are parties held in the marquee next to Café Restaurant 'It Foarûnder' with live music. In the café one can have a drink with team members and discuss the results of today.
